Ahadith

The plural of hadith. Basically, a saying or action of the Prophet, peace be upon him. A chain of transmission that leads back to the Prophet, p. There were pious men around the final Prophet, p, who would memorize and narrate every single thing that he uttered or did. It is a miracle of Allah to preserve the revelation in this way. The authenticity of the method is amazing.
